The DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) is a kind of FUE but with a tool called an implanter, which assists in hair grafting, and allows direction and angle setting for the hair root at the same time.
Normally, a 3,000-graft FUE technique would take 6-8 hours, while the use of an implanter might partially reduce the transplantation time, but as the hair grafts have to be loaded into the implanter, so both methods have minimal time difference. The patient may have to consider whether to invest in the implanter and the DHI method.
